We use personal data to:
Create and manage accounts (passenger and driver)
Take and manage bookings (including by telephone), dispatch jobs, and provide updates
Connect passengers with drivers and help drivers reach pickup locations
Provide customer/driver support and handle complaints, disputes, refunds and chargebacks
Maintain service quality, prevent fraud/misuse, and improve safety/security
Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the performance of our website and apps
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including licensing and accounting/record-keeping)
4) Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on one or more of the following lawful bases depending on the activity:
Contract (to provide the booking/dispatch services you request)
Legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the Services, prevent fraud and misuse, manage disputes)
Legal obligation (where we must keep records or provide information to authorities)
Consent (where required, e.g., certain permissions and optional choices)
5) Who we share data with
We may share personal data with:
A. Independent drivers
To fulfil a booking, we share necessary booking details with the driver who accepts the job (for example pickup/drop-off details and passenger contact details where needed for collection/communication).
Drivers are independent providers of transportation services and will process personal data for the purpose of completing the booking and meeting their legal obligations.
B. Service providers (processors)
We use third parties to help run the Services, such as:
Hosting/IT and security providers
Communications providers (SMS/email/notifications)
Mapping/navigation services
Analytics/crash reporting tools
Payment processing providers
These providers process data on our instructions where they act as processors and must protect it.

6) Location information (apps) and your choices
Passenger app permissions: options such as “While using the app”, “Only this time”, or “Don’t allow”.
Driver app permissions: the same options.
If you allow location access, we use it to support booking functionality (e.g., identifying nearby drivers, improving pickup accuracy, navigation support).
If you choose “Don’t allow”, you can still use the passenger app, but you may need to enter pickup and drop-off manually.
No background location: we collect location only while the app is open/in use, not in the background.
You can change location permissions at any time in your device settings.
7) Notifications
The apps may request notification permission (“Allow” / “Don’t allow”). If enabled, we may send notifications such as booking confirmations, driver/passenger updates, and important service messages. You can disable notifications in device settings at any time.
